Tanya C. Hsu, past Director of Development and Senior Research Analyst for the Institute for Research: Middle East Policy in Washington D.C., is a political analyst focusing on Saudi Arabian and US relations. Having analyzed the role of trade and policy between the Arab world, the US and Europe, Ms. Hsu focused her strategic analysis on political parties occupying both sides of the Atlantic in a book she is completing, Target: Saudi Arabia. This work brings her research of American foreign policy towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to print, using classified information and never before published documentation to reveal a campaign of planned invasion more than thirty years old.

For almost two decades Ms. Hsu has created and facilitated connections between Middle Eastern leaders, diplomats and businessmen and women. Her research coverage includes Middle East conflict resolution, Gulf economic issues and international policy between the Arab world and the United States. Ms. Hsu has also collaborated on two books deconstructing the myths of the Palestine/Israeli conflicts, contributed to author and political commentator Pat Buchanans recently published book Where The Right Went Wrong, and is additionally working on a second book about the people and culture of Saudi Arabia. She was one of the contributors to recent written testimony on Saudi Arabia for the Senate Judiciary Committee on behalf of FOCA (Friends of Charities Association in its Hearing on Capitol Hill.

Her analysis has been published and recognised throughout the US, Europe and the Middle East, including CNN, the BBC, the Financial Times, Arab News, Riyadh Daily, WAMY, Arabies Trends, Al Jazeera, Al-Ahram (Cairo), Tehrans Jame Jam, Asia Times, Palestinian Television, Harvard University, the Saudi American Forum, SUSRIS, the National Council on US Arab Relations, and other organizations and print media throughout the world. An established investigative political writer, Ms. Hsu has contributed to major conferences and events, including the first US-Arab Economic Forum in 2003. She was an organizer of the April 2003 Harvard University symposium Promoting Understanding between the Arab World and the US. In November 2003 she organised a presentation on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. on the topic of the US plan of occupation of the Middle East entitled A Clean Break, a controversial criticism on current US policy aired live on C-Span television.

Born in London Ms. Hsu read economics at the University of Essex in England. A Director of Finance for private companies in the US for many years, fifteen years ago she committed to her passion for the Middle East, Islam, and Arab culture full time.
