Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud
Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdul Aziz
al-Saud (born 1940 in Taif, Saudi Arabia) is the Foreign Minister
of Saudi Arabia, having assumed that position in 1975 with His
Excellency Dr. Nizar Bin Obaid Madani as Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs. He is married and has three sons and daughters.
In he earned a degree in economics from Princeton
University. His father was Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, King of Saudi
Arabia from 1964 - 1975. Before he was Foreign Minister he held a
number of other positions, some of these have been:

Joined the Ministry of Petroleum as an economic consultant.

He was transferred to the General Organization for Petroleum
and Mineral Resources being responsible for the Petroleum
Relations� Office.

He was appointed as Deputy Governor of Petromin for Planning
Affairs on 22/02/1970.

He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral
Resources on 15/06/1971(corresponding to 21/04/1391H in the
Islamic calendar).

Appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs by royal decree from
13/10/1975, corresponding to 08/10/1395H.
