Dr. Haifa R .Jamal Al-Lail 
Dean of Effat College 

Dr. Haifa R .Jamal Al-Lail specializes in Public Administration and Public Policy. 

From 1980 to 2000 she worked she worked in various capacities at King Abdul- Aziz University (KAAU) in Jeddah, including the Public Administration Department.

From 1995 to 1999 she was the Dean of the Girl's Section and prior to this served as Head of Public Administration Department, Vice-Dean of the Facility of Economic and Administration, and Manager of Administration Development Department. 

At the University, she is Chairman and Committee member of Master Thesis and a representative of University Vice President for Graduate Studies. She was a committee member of both (TA) and Lectures Recruitment, and Graduate Admissions. Dr. Al-Lail taught specialized courses for graduate and undergraduate students, and served Academic Adviser to undergraduate students in the Department of Public Administrations. 

From 1955 to 1999, she served as a chairman of various committees for the Girl's section in KAAU including the Career-day Committee "Community Service Program:; the Studying Female Students Problems Committee in KAAU: the Student Discipline Committee, the Administrative Recruitment Process Committee: and the Administrative Promotion Committees. 

Dr. Al-Lail is an active member of several international scientific societies including American Society of Public Administration (ASPA): Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA): Journal of Public Policy (JPP): and Institute of Public Administration, KSA.

She has a Master of Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Southern California.
