If you don't have a SUSRIS discussion forum account then simply click on "New User" at the top of the page. 

The forum is open to anyone but you must register to participate.  

How to Participate

Visit the forum 'home' page.  Anyone can read through the forum threads.  

To post to a forum you must be registered and logged-in.

• To register (one time process) click on "New User"
• Fill in a Log-in Name
• Fill in a Display Name
• Provide a password (this is not optional)
• Provide your email address.

Verification of registration will be sent to your email address.  Simply click on the link and you will become a member of the forum and can start posting to the forum.  Please comply with the forum rules (below).

Forums are moderated.  

• Do be civilized and considerate.
• Don't swear.
• Do try and express your thoughts carefully and clearly.
• Do be sure to read what the other person is actually saying and not what you think they may be saying.
• Don't get personal; a good general rule: "criticize ideas, not people".
• Don't post personal/racial/ethnic/gender-based insults, slurs or offensive comments.
• Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to wind people up.
• Don't post junk.
• Do keep messages on-topic and post on the appropriate topic board.
• Don't duplicate existing topics elsewhere.
• Don't post advertisements. If you are unsure whether or not a posting constitutes an advert, e-mail [email protected] before posting.
• Do watch what you say � you are responsible for what you write. Views that are expressed in the forums are not endorsed (agreed with) by SUSRIS.
• Don't post personal information about yourself or someone else (whether you know them or not!) - it's for your own safety.
• Don't make slanderous statements, or anything else that might violate someone's privacy.
• Don't post contact details e.g. phone numbers and physical address details.or post other people's e-mail addresses unless you have their permission to do so.
• Don't threaten other users. Threats will not be tolerated and will result in a ban.
• Do respect the Moderators' decisions � the SUSRIS Moderators reserve the right to edit, relocate and/or remove any message, at any time, for any reason.  All editing decisions should be considered final.
• Do remember that some of the discussion forums are moderated by a group of people who have volunteered to put themselves in the position of making difficult judgement calls. Following these guidelines/rules makes their life easier, and everyone's experience visiting SUSRIS discussion forums better.  You can also report any messages violating these rules to the [email protected] . If you don't agree with a decision, you may discuss it with the SUSRIS editor whose decision is final. The rules outlined on this page, above, will be used as moderation guidelines.
